Margareta Horiba won Honorable Mention for the Leif and Inger Sjöberg Prize in The American-Scandinavian Foundation’s 26^th annual Translation Prize competition 2005.

2004

The American Scandinavian Foundation awarded Paul Norlén its Translation Prize for 2004 for his translation of Ernst Brunner's A Toast to Your Ashes. The Life of the Poet Bellman from Beginning to End.

Roger Greenwald has been awarded the 2004 Lewis Galantière Award, given biennially by the American Translators Assocation for a distinguished literary translation into English from any language other than German. Greenwald received the award for North in the World: Selected Poems of Rolf Jacobsen (University of Chicago Press).
